Three Opinions On The Pot Legalization Initiative

Ross Reynolds
08/15/2012 at 12:20 p.m.

This November Washington voters will decide the fate of Initiative 502, the measure to license and regulate marijuana for people over 21. Ross Reynolds sits down with three people who all have different perspectives on why the initiative should or shouldn't pass.

Alison Holcomb is the campaign director for New Approach Washington, the group that wrote Initiative 502.

Ezra Eickmeyer is a lobbyist for the Washington Alternative Medicine Alliance, a political action committee that protects the rights of medical cannabis patients and providers.

Pat Slack is a career law enforcement officer with over 40 years on the job. He has worked for the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office and the Everett Police Department, and he now serves as the commander of the Snohomish Regional Drug and Gang Task Force.
